You've Saved the Best Till Now

Jesus is always doing something new. When He is present, things change. People change. It is a matter of His hour to act. Is it time yet?

At the wedding in Cana, recorded in John 2:1-11, Jesus turned water into wine. Different ones at the wedding had different responses.

His mother knew His power. But she didn't know His timing. Expecting Him to do something, she said to Him, 'They have no more wine.' Jesus answered, 'My time has not yet come.' Divine delays are not denials.

The master of the banquet did not know Jesus but he tasted His power. So he declared rightly the timing of Jesus. Referring to the choicest wine he thought the bridegroom saved, he said, 'You've saved the best till now.'

The disciples knew Jesus, witnessed His power being revealed and put their faith in Him.

Different people. Different responses. But all witnessed a miracle. Do you also need a miracle? God’s hour to act on our behalf is always the best timing! Put our faith in Him.

Read in Precious Moments in the Wilderness more about why divine delays are not denials.
